The client: London Independent Hospital

The London Independent Hospital is a comprehensive, acute private hospital based in East London. The private hospital has 61 beds, four theatres, one cardiac catheter lab, an endoscopy suite and an intensive care unit.

The challenge

Safeguarding patients and staff has become a significant social issue over the last decade. The variety of potential problems requires versatile, adaptable security solutions. The hospital needed a system to provide all aspects of site security, from operating theatres and wards, to main entrances and car parks.

The solution

Working closely with the hospital’s management team, Camrascan Security implemented an integrated building management system covering every aspect of the hospital’s healthcare regime.

We designed, installed and commissioned a building management system which included CCTV, access control and a range of monitoring systems controlled from various locations and linked together on a computer network.

The result

Camrascan Security has provided London Independent Hospital with a security system which offers the easily accessible information gathering. The system has been used for training purposes as well as helping to reduce incidents of violence.
